Community Guidelines

Effective: November 8, 2024  

MooCommerce is committed to providing a respectful, safe, positive community environment. Our Community Guidelines outline the principles that help us maintain these standards and provide clear guidance on our expectations for everyone using the MooCommerce platform. 

Adherence to these guidelines and compliance with Norwegian law, GDPR, and EU regulations are required to participate in our community. Non-compliance may result in task removal, account suspension, or other access restrictions.

Keep Our Community Safe

Any inappropriate, fraudulent, or otherwise prohibited conduct is not allowed on the MooCommerce platform or associated channels. This includes:

  • Misrepresenting yourself as a MooCommerce administrator.
  • Posting offensive, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate messages.
  • Sending spam or personal referral links inappropriately.
  • Uploading files containing harmful code, such as viruses or malware.
  • Misusing support channels with false or frivolous reports.
  • Sharing or publicly discussing bugs or errors that may provide an unintended advantage.
  • Distributing any customer’s personal or identifiable information, including but not limited to names, email addresses, phone numbers, and project content.

Respect Confidentiality

Confidentiality is essential at MooCommerce. Therefore, you must not:

  • Disclose customer identities or any project-specific data.
  • Download, copy, or distribute any MooCommerce materials outside our approved systems.
  • Share project information, instructions, links, media, or documentation with third parties or other community members.
  • Discuss MooCommerce projects outside the approved communication channels.
  • Retain any records or logs related to projects outside MooCommerce systems.
  • Print, email, or store MooCommerce materials on personal or non-approved devices or storage.

Keep Our Systems Secure

You may not compromise the security or integrity of MooCommerce systems, nor use these systems to undermine any network, software, or device. Prohibited actions include:

  • Bypassing technical limitations designed to control system use.
  • Using VPNs or other tools to misrepresent your identity or location, unless explicitly permitted.
  • Deliberately disrupting system operations through excessive requests or other actions.
  • Attempting to probe or breach system security or authentication.
  • Monitoring or scraping data from MooCommerce systems without authorization.
  • Engaging in any action that might damage, disrupt, or interfere with system integrity or security.

If you become aware of any unauthorized access, misuse, or compromise of MooCommerce systems or materials, promptly notify us at post@localhost
